Position title: BTOP Outreach Specialist

Job description:
The BTOP Marketing Representative's main focus is to promote Project Endeavor by delivering the program equipment options and other offerings to deaf and hard of hearing individuals. The representative will work closely with the Senior Outreach Manager in creating and supporting sales activities (tradeshows, events, workshops, etc.) as well as helping to develop and execute the PE marketing program within their region.
Essential Funcitions:
- Impact BTOP sales results by identifying, planning and participating in local community activities and events to spread awareness about Project Endeavor.
- Assist Senior Outreach Manager with execution of BTOP Marketing campaigns through local community events and meetings.
- Work with local organizations, agencies and community leaders in developing opportunities for promoting Project Endeavor products and services in the form of road shows, town hall meetings as well as other ad hoc events.
- Present information and communication pieces to the deaf and hard of hearing population.
- Promote, demonstrate, sell and deliver Project Endeavor program equipment to consumers within assigned region.
- Process and file event paperwork relevant to costs, participation and publicity and prepare weekly event reports.
- Publicize events and works with various agencies, organizations and community leaders to raise awareness and drive high levels of participation by our targeted audience.
- Willing to travel at least 75% of the time. A majority of the travel is using your personal vehicle, some airline travel will be required as well.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience of training in marketing or sales preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Must have proven network/connection to the respective region.
- Must have valid driver's license and able to provide proof of insurance.
- Ability to work independently and work as team to make this project successful.
- Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with the deaf and hard of hearing community required.
- Fluency in American Sign Language required.
